ERPsim Lab at HEC Montréal
Baton has a long-standing relationship with HEC Montréal, a leading university in Canada and a business school known for excellence in research and teaching. Thought leaders at the ERPsim Lab at HEC laid the foundations for ERPsim™, which they now make available to over 200 academic institutions around the world. HEC continues to provide Baton with research and innovation capabilities.
Baton is an industry partner of SCALE AI, Canada’s business-led consortium “dedicated to building the next-generation supply chain and boosting industry performance by leveraging AI technologies.” As we leverage AI and machine learning in our own solutions, we also work to strengthen our economy with these technologies.
Guy leads Baton and manages its strategic relationships with organizations such as SAP. Appointed CEO in 2015 when Baton acquired OTA, a consultancy in organizational change management that he founded and led, Guy brings a wealth of experience in organizational change management (OCM), enterprise software deployment, and executive education. He holds a master’s degree in communications from Université de Montréal and a bachelor’s degree from Concordia University, and conducted post-graduate research in technology adoption.
Chief Revenue Officer
Max leads Baton’s growth initiatives and oversees both sales and marketing. Prior to joining Baton, he provided commercial leadership to a range of organizations. Most recently, at nGUVU, provider of an employee engagement platform that uses gamification and machine learning, Max was instrumental in securing a key round of investment for the company. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from McGill University.
Chief Technology Officer
Sebastien is a technical innovator who leads development of Baton’s products. He has more than 19 years of experience in all phases of architecture, design, and development of business applications. With a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in computer and software engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, Sebastien also holds a bachelor’s degree from the Université de Québec à Montreal.
User Experience Architect
An expert in user experience design and the mastermind behind our newest simulation scenarios, Kamran is key to Baton’s product development efforts. Applying his deep knowledge of learning theory and incorporating engagement strategies such as gamification, Kamran designs meaningful and memorable experiences that make our products successful. Kamran is also a lecturer and researcher at Concordia University, where he earned a Ph.D. and master’s degree in educational technology, and a bachelor’s degree in economics and education.
Customer Success Manager
As a product expert with a deep understanding of Baton’s customers, Amélie is responsible for Baton’s customer experience, ensuring that they derive maximum benefit from our solutions. With advanced studies in digital marketing, she holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and technology from HEC Montréal.
